10 days and 9 nights in Tanzania
This safari has been carefully created to give our guests the best chance of witnessing one of the greatest natural spectacles on Earth… the great migration crossing the Mara River. You’ll spend 10 days exploring three of the most iconic areas of Tanzania… the Serengeti National Park, the Ngorongoro Crater, and Tarangire National Park. Our guides will meet us when our bush plane lands in the Serengeti, and we’ll be off on our adventure straight away. You’ll enjoy upscale accommodations at a variety of camps and lodges throughout the tour, with chef-prepared dining daily. The chances of seeing the Big 5 AND the great migration in the same safari means you’ll have twice as much to cross off your bucket list before this tour is finished!
$8295 per person / double occupancy (children 2-12 receive 10% discount)
In addition to witnessing the great migration at the river crossing, you’ll be treated half- and full-day game drives throughout the safari in a variety of locations. We’ll spend a couple of nights in the beautiful Central Serengeti before making our way to the Ngorongoro Farmhouse in the Ngorongoro highlands. A completely different ecosystem rules the highlands, with lush forest and cooler temperatures. The next day you’ll be up early in order to be one of the first vehicles inside the Crater itself. The Ngorongoro Crater is a World Heritage Site, and boasts one of the densest population of African animals on the planet. It is a cross between Narnia, Seuss, and Jurassic Park (without the Dinosaurs, of course), and is a treat to behold. Finally, we’ll spend a couple of fantastic days in the Tarangire National Park… home of the beautiful and unique Baobob trees and massive elephant herds. This safari is action packed and designed to send you home with stories you’ll remember and retell for the rest of your life.
