Using custom-designed safari vehicles and a bush plane, we’ll safely take you into the wild to thoroughly explore two world-famous National Parks (Tarangire and Serengeti), and the UNESCO World Heritage site known as the Ngorongoro Crater and Highlands.
And, while that describes the Critters side of the equation, the Culture side is equally amazing. We’ll leave the National Parks and wilderness areas behind to venture into the Great Rift Valley. Here, our goal will be to closely interact with two important tribes (Hadzabe and Datoga), with the help of our local interpreter and hopefully offer guests a chance to join the Hadzabe hunters on their morning hunt. These tribes, the local children, and our Tanzanian hosts you’ll meet along the way will collectively steal your heart!
We will even stop for lunch at the Olduvai Gorge to learn about the important archeology that was discovered in (and continues to flow from) this very spot on earth. It is nicknamed The Cradle of Mankind, and it is a fascinating stop over on the way to the Serengeti!
And if you think you’ll be “roughing it” on this tour, think again! You’ll enjoy a variety of tented camps and lodges throughout the tour, each of which offers creature comforts you’d never expect to find in the middle of the bush in Africa. Clean, fresh linens, flushing toilets, hot showers, and chef-prepared meals are just a few of the things that our guests rave about, safari after safari.
